Big huge puppies

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

We picked these two up yesterday at the shelter - they'd been found in our area, running at large I guess. That's what the woman who dropped them off said.
They seem to be Great Pyrenees and Collie mix.
This is the male, we call Solomon - he's about 40lbs. at approx. 4mo.

The sis is Sasha.

She's smaller and reminds me of a collie, longer nose for sure.

Two siblings remain at the shelter, we are just too full to take more :(
I'll see how adoptions go this week and try to get them if they are still there next Saturday.

Here you can get an idea of the boy's size. That's Jeff kneeling beside him!

The boy is HUGE!!!

They're both adorable -- good luck with them and I hope you can go back and get the others!

I'll get good weights when I have them to the vet. All I know is I almost pee'd my pants picking the boy up lol
And they dwarf Lambie, who is right about 30lbs.!

Oh my!! I had a Great Pyrenees when I was younger and I used to run that dog up and down the golf course where I used to live. I was 9 years old and we used to dodge the golf balls. LOL. If you were closer I'd have to come hang there and play with them. I love the collie markings on them.

Have a great day!! :)

They look a lot like Central Asian Shepherds to me.

Central Asian Shepherds are NOT related to Labradors, FYI.

LOL I found pics last night on Google - yep they do look similar to those! I wondered how many were in this area, I bet there are some. I've got tentative homes for both already. They are at the vet's now to be altered. Solomon was 45 lbs  Sister Sasha was 32.
