Puff the magic pony

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

The lady who's horse I lease just bought another horse, named Puff. He's actually been at the barn for a while, and I had ridden him once before. He's only 3, but really well behaved and calm, and has been really fun to ride. I decided it was probably best to just let him go run around to arena today and get out some pent up energy... which also gave me an opportunity to get some pics. :)

At least it's pretty, I guess...

He's a chubby and fuzzy little guy, but I'm sure he will look gorgeous in the summer!

He was excited to run!

I was trying to get face shots, but he kept following me around. :)

Is Puff considered a Buckskin? I haven't "talked horse" in awhile, and forgot.

Great photos. How about some of you riding? Do you ride English or Western?

Yeah, he's a buckskin. :) I don't have any recent pictures of me riding, I'm normally out there by myself during the weekday afternoons (the way I like it! ;)) I ride Western now... have done both, but Western seems to fit the best.

Here are a couple of old pictures of me riding...

With my horse Eldon... I think I was 13?

Yeah, my beautiful girl! She's a bay overo paint. I miss her so much. I got to visit her this summer though, and she is doing great (I gave her to the camp I had gone to and worked at... where I'm riding her in that second photo of her... long story. lol).

Sometimes I want to take her back because I miss her so much, but I know she has an awesome life there... I couldn't take her away from that.

Here she was this summer:

She had gone all the way from California to Colorado with me... and we have been through a lot together... my special girl. :)

he's got a lovely looking gait in one of those pics :)
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Wow, he sure is a fuzzy little sausage isn't he!

He's very pretty, it'll be interesting to see how he looks when he is less furry and in shape!

Your paint is beautiful!
