So think that nose is normal? Nope...another AKC requirement...gotta love them.

Here's your real bull terrier, reportedly a mix of white terrier, real bulldog, and a pointer breed.

As far as I know, no one is breeding to this standard anymore....what a shame.

I'll have to find the pictures of the English Bulldog skulls. In under 50 years they went from functional dogs to the misshapen dogs of today.

once the show breeders get involved it is the beginning of the end for most breeds.

Supposedly Border Collie people get kicked out of the main organization if they join or show AKC. Other breed clubs are fighting being 'recognized'. If a breed wins a big show, the puppy millers and BYB's jump on the breed.

Okay, despite technically being a mutt, there are breeders trying to maintain the original boxer look. From all the old pics I've seen and the history I've read, this is somewhat of what the old time boxers look like.
