I don't know if any of you remember the story of "Tip", but here is the jist of it. Two years ago through volunteering at the Shelter, I got to meet Tip. He was so cute with those silly ears and as I came to know him, I found he was pretty smart too. Seeing him three times a week out there, I became a little attached. I even dreamed up what I would name him if he was mine and started calling him Reno. I resisted adopting him right away because we already had three dogs and it was a BIG decision as you all know. After almost three weeks there, no one showed much interest in him and he was about out of time. So we made the decision to bring him into our family and it is a decision that I have never regreted. In fact there have been many times I've been very thankful Reno is here. He is a wonderful part of our family!

At the shelter around 7 months old:

He's so adorable! Not much has really changed... his eyes/face are the same, but he finally kind of grew into his ears! He's sooo cute!

He's a dead ringer to my friend's dog 'Star' (though obviously she's a girl ;) )

Happy gotcha day!
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Thanks everyone! I think Reno had a nice, special day. We gave him lots of extra love and some special treats. My grandson, Bayne, came by too and Reno loves when Bayne visits.
