Baby Rufus

i was looking thru one of the photo albums i have of the dogs, and i found these 2 pics of rufus at 3 months old from november 2002. We got him in October right before halloween.. here he is all 9 lbs of him....

i have to look for all the other photos i took of him, i have them buried somewhere here in the house..

tell me about it... he was sooooo cute as a pup....... this was at the 3 week mark when i had him..... he was soooo huggable.. he still is, but much bigger then 9 lbs....

i brought him home in a tupperware bin........ he slept the whole way home from phillipsburg where i met his foster mom .... i have to find the other pics i have of him... i have like 400 pictures between dogs/family its going to take a while to find them.... but he was such a good puppy too..

Was he really only 9lbs at 3 months? He is so much bigger than Rocky now and Rocky was 30lbs at 4 months when we got him and quite skinny with ribs showing. My guess is Rocky is close to 50lbs now at the start of 9mos. How much does Rufus weigh now? What age did he stop growing?

rufus was 2 months old when i got him in October of 2002. he weighed 9 lbs when i brought him home, as he was the runt of the litter..

and yes, he was a feisty pup when it came to playingwith jesse, i have a video of him somewhere here where he was jumping all over her, pulling on her cheek, neck, and just driving her nuts....

rufus is now ranging between 54-58 lbs... mostly he stays near the 57lb mark..

oops he stopped growing when he hit 2 years old. the vet said he would top out at 45 lbs.. like his mother.. WRONG ANSWER.. he kept growing in height and weight...
