is healing up nicely! She got the stitches out today. Here she is modeling Smitty's collar so that we could see if a 1" looks good on her. So I killed two birds with one stone, sorta. lol

Yeah the 1" looks nice doesn't it? I like that size on her.
Her shoulder is doing great but she's still scratching, we have to keep her jean jacket on her still...she's tired of it!

For the itching have you tried taking Vitamin E capsules and puncturing the capsule and putting the liquid contents on the wound?? Helps heal scars and helps soothe the healing skin.

I didn't think of that. They have us dabbing Chlorhexaderm on it, it's still "gooey" sort of (she keeps scratching it!)

The chlorohexaderm does clean it but it also has crying effects which could add to the itching.
