Sock-M needs Prayers

Food, Fitness and how to keep them healthy.

Postby Patch O' Pits » July 8th, 2006, 9:27 am

I have to take Sock-M for a biopsy. UUUGH. I found a lump in her leg.

We are hoping it is just scar tissue from the injury she had as a puppy when she was stepped on by her mama. They want to biopsy because the fluid they removed came back questionable.

I'm so stressed out and hope she is going to be ok

PLEASE SEND HER GOOD THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

Thanks

She goes Tuesday and I didn't even ask about how long the test results take after the surgery. I'm too stressed right now. My BF had to make the apt

It was pretty big and they were only going to take a piece, but he saw he could get it all and took it all out, but had to cut into her muscle. So I'm more stressed now. They said she did well and is in recovery. It was a long surgery. Won't know what it is for a few days

I don't get to take her home until tomorrow and they said it is better to wait to see her because she is all drugged up, but I really want to see her. What do you think is best. I don't know if it will be more upsetting to her seeing me come and go again

... I don't know how much it is going to end up being. They figured about $1,500 but it took way longer than expected so I'm guessing it will be more.
Not sure if she will need anything further after this or not. It depends on the results

I'm so glad the surgery is finally over; I can almost breathe now

When Mac had surgery for his bowel obstruction, the vet said I could go back to visit him when he started to wake up. I barely said "hello" to him when he decided to yank out his IV and try to escape the cage. He's not the sharpest tool sometimes, LOL.

I didn't visit him for the next two days and he caused no trouble during that time. I guess I was a bad influence on him! :D

Glad to hear the vet thinks he got all of the lump -- sending prayers your way!
