Leaves?

Food, Fitness and how to keep them healthy.

Postby SpiritFngrz » June 16th, 2006, 12:14 pm

Satin keeps eating dried up leaves from the ground on her walk, like they are little popcorn treats left there for her. I try to keep her away from them but every so often she'll snatch one.

Are there any tree leaves that are poisonous to dogs?

I remember with our mini horses we had to worry about red maples.

Anyone know? :|

Well if any leaves are, so far it has not affected Rocky except for some gagging or having poo leaves hanging from his butt. He eats leaves constantly. Sometimes I catch him and take it sometimes they are gone before I get to him. Recently on a hike he cleared the path of any plants with leaves hanging over the path even poison ivy chomping and choking the whole way. Im hoping he grows out of this adiction.

M.E. Thank you for posting all that info. I think it's excellent to have on hand, especially since it's nice out and we're taking more walks/doing more with our dogs....

You should send ALL pot to me so that I can dispose of it properly.
