As in preventative treatment, or treatment after they have it? My girl is on Sentinel for heartworm and fleas and some other worm, and I guess it's working. :| Never had a dog diagnosed with it though - I've heard it's expensive. Does one of your dogs have it or are you just seeking info?

Hey Pinkie's mom,

I had a foster dog undergo treatment for heartworm while he was with me. I might be able to answer some questions for you.

We treated a couple of dogs at the last place I worked, what sort of info do you want to know?
