Raw vs. Kibble debate

Food, Fitness and how to keep them healthy.

I'm going to say one thing, and then be done with you.
If I lived by your standards, these:

http://www.pitbulltalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=3168
http://www.pitbulltalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=3091

would all be dead now. And that is no dramatization. There was NOBODY stepping up to help these dogs. It was ME and my "crappy food" or NOBODY. There was certainly nobody with your high standards waiting in line to foster pregnant Kona and her babies.

So if that is what it's like to live by YOUR standards...then FVCK you and your standards.
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

Standard of Living is different from personal standards.

And thank you for being very rude and reminding me why I no longer want to be involved in rescue.

There are dozens upon dozens upon dozens of dogs I could have saved from the shelter throughout the years but I didnt because I couldnt provide the best for them. That is MY decision, NOT yours.

I was there to save Jilly, Demi and Layla on "my" standards. Hell, even KYA was on the raw diet when I knew that she was going to Violet in a few weeks. Pet nutrition is a priority for ME. I believe that "you are what you eat" so I want what I believe is the very best for my animals. I would sell my belongings, work three jobs and eat ramen if it meant keeping my dogs on raw.

Same here. I've scrimped and saved and worked crappy-ass jobs to keep good food under Wally's nose when I was going through money issues, and I would do it again without a doubt.

with an extra mouth to feed in our house and me losing the ability to work (having to supervise said loud mouth) I'm cutting corners like its my job (which...it kind of is, now. ugh.)

I just went to the grocery store and bought every generic in sight...stopped buying organic for us (it was all I would eat before)...and even considered...for a brief moment...

buying hotdogs.

got home...saw the fairly pricey kibble sitting in the dog bowls and thought...

I need to buy them cheaper food.

Vette, you say anything like that on this board one more time & you will lose your posting privelages. YOU have been complaining since page 3 that you were being attacked. What you just said was about as personal as it gets as far as attacks.
