Quick update: Cooper is improving! He is awake and standing on his own. He even ate and drank a little bit today. He's not out of the woods yet, but this is a definite improvement over where he was on Thursday.

Another good update! Cooper recognized his mom when she went to visit him and responded to his name. He's almost able to walk normally again. The vet said he should be able to go home in a few days and then he'll need antibiotics for several weeks. Yay!

My friend just texted me again and said to make sure I thank everyone here for the good thoughts. The vet was amazed at Cooper's progress. I told her this board can do amazing things.

I don't know if I have any. She sent me one on my phone today, but I'm not sure how to get it off. I may have an old one in my email, I'll have to check.
