Dog Measles?

Is there such a thing as dog measles or influenza that dogs can acquire?

The vet called Heidi and indicated they found a distemper only vaccine that includes measles and influenza

um, I think that the measles are lots different from people measles...

Canine distemper is in the same virus group as human Measles [paramyxovirus].

That is what I thought

I need to call the office tomorrow. I'm thoroughly confused with their description of the vaccine unless they meant to say it covers distemper and influenza

Keep us posted on what they tell you, because this info would be good to know for others who get the same response about a distemper only vaccine.
