Sometimes, if we are really lucky
, the undescended testicle is subcutaneous or very easily palpated. It's also possible that they slip in & out of the inguinal ring and can be "placed" back into the scrotum. It might not be a big deal at all!
We do lots of French Bull Dogs and brachycephalic dogs.... it usually isn't the
time under general anethesia that I worry so much about, but more the induction and recovery from it, which obviously will be the same regardless.
I'm sure that if you address your concerns before hand, they will either decide it might be best to reschedule when they have more time, or go ahead as planned, after they examine him.
