The Poops

Food, Fitness and how to keep them healthy.

Geeeeez...I have Kona on antibiotics for her mastitis, and our calico cat Saffron on antibiotics for an eye infection, and both have liquid poops. The litter box reeks! And the outside...well it's no fun cleaning up pancakes instead of neat little logs...

Thought you guys would like to know that...

That's a good idea. Thing is, she has this wierd compulsion to go on our pea gravel instead of the grass. Everytime she goes, we throw away tons of pebbles...

It's called poop freeze...if you do a google search, you can easily find it...I have it at home, and found that it didn't work....I wasn't really impressed...but that's just me.... :|

It will harden if you leave it a couple days.

Maybe she likes the gravel because thats what they have where at the shelter??

Oscar has had them a bit lately too, and we've had TONS of vomiting and diarrhea dogs at work, everyone is out and about and eating bad things :lol3:

That works for me. That'll be my excuse so that hubby can pick it up when he gets home. "I had to let it harden..."

I hope they feel better. Give them some canned pumpkin and yogurt to help balance out the effects from it

I give both my girls pumpkin every night...one spoonful. It helps keep them regular....

I also give Sacha an acidophilus pill every night....she's my "diarrhea dog" so I have found that it keeps things solid!!!!
