So...I keep forgetting to ask the vet...can you cause changes to the dog's system by not giving water often enough?

The dog that I know that is like this with water also has small kidneys...I've always wondered if the lack of water from 8 weeks to 2 years made them smaller somehow? I don't know anything about anatomy...so I don't know if that's possible or not.

I don't know the exact answer to that question. But Greg has seen many dogs that had coccidia as puppies (Nisha included)and they are all smaller than "normal."
