Trying to decide on a new dog food for Inara (a non-grocery store/petsmart one...damn these healthy foods...!) and I've heard that Pinnacle is a good one...anybody use it?

Now I notice it doesn't have rice, and neither does the California Natural Herring one that you use ME. Isn't rice supposed to be an allergen in several dogs? Same with sunflower oil, I think?

My personal experience with Pinnacle (duck formula) was extremely positive. I used it as a mixer with Sacha's raw for a while, and she continued with solid poop. Her coat was soft, eyes shiny. Her ears were even clear (until I took her swimming last week).

Sacha's allergies are mainly to chicken products....she's fine with grain, though I try to stay away since I have no idea what might "set her off"
