They're more like necklaces than collars.

:lol3: Katy's is like that now.

So, after reading this thread, I decided to experiment with cleaning stuff on Mac's Blocky Collar. It always smells a bit like ass because he has so many skin issues and even multiple washings in the machine don't quite make it clean enough.

I filled a big pot with HOT water, added about a 1/4 cup of OxyClean and a squirt of Palmolive dish detergent, swirled it around, and then let the collar soak while I ran out for a couple of hours and took care of some errands. The collar is now unbelieveably clean and de-funked!!! I'm soaking it again in plain water just to make sure all the cleaner is gone, then I'll let it air dry in the furnace room. I can't WAIT to see how clean and sparkly it looks when dry!!!

Seriously...I was a little concerned, when it read "I'll let it air dry in the furnace" because the next word "room" was on the next sentence. I read it fast and missed the room at first...I was just like wtf? She's drying it in the frickin' furnace? How's that gonna work? :giggle:
