I am serving pancakes.

The smoke detector went off. Again. I think I need to turn the heat down and actually, ya know, WATCH the food.

The other side looked okay, kinda.

Oh Joyce. You need to do like I do and just eat out of boxes. Breakfast this morning consisted of a Dark Chocolate and Coconut granola bar and some Wildberry Crumb Cake yogurt. Tasty with no cooking involved.

Joyce, all of your cooking ends up looking the same.

That would be SO nice, Emi! :) I once took a beginners cooking class through Adult Ed/the schools, and the lady yelled at me because I just didn't think the measuring part really mattered as much as she did. Personally, I think she had a little OCD.

Well, often the 'measuring part ISN'T as important as some think. But usually that knowledge/skill comes AFTER one has Learned TO COOK. !!

And it doesn't seem INGREDIENTS is your problem, (from what I can see of the pictures)..........not turning up the fire, walking away to pick up your knitting, or watching Porn, seems to be the problem.

I have that problem too. That's why I use timers. You need one that beeps incessantly until you get up to turn it off though.
