Dog saves another dog

Anything that doesn't fit into the other three catagories

Postby pitbullmamaliz » December 5th, 2008, 6:23 pm

My local radio station posted this link on their website. This dog was hit by a car (shown several times on the video, so be forewarned) and then another dog drags it out of the road.

OMG!!! I wouldn't have believed it, if I didn't see it! Did they know each other?? The narration is in another language. Anyone know what is being said?

I don't know if the HBC dog lived or not - I certainly hope so and would love to find out!

I just keep watching it and waiting for the dog "saving" the HBC dog to start eating him.

I just feel like there is an alternate reason under this and it's isn't the sweet story we humans want it to be . . .

Just read in another forum that this was in Chile. Both dogs survived and have been adopted.

Just saw this story and the follow-up on Good Morning America -- the HBC dog died, and the other dog ran away before the highway guys could catch him.

I can't find the translation, but the broadcaster said it was a newspiece about the problem of stray dogs overrunning the area and a call out to officials that something has to be done about the problem.

The dog "saving" isnt humping the dog that got hit? His hips are constantly moving.

I thought that at first too, but we have a couple of dogs at training that have the same hip movement when they're pulling (or trying to pull) the decoy backwards. So I think it may just be the weight of the dog he's pulling.

Yea, I don't think the other dog is humping just pulling in a direction that is awkward for a dog, backwards.

Seriously, that is amazing!

I still say he was just planning on eating the dog and was dragging his dinner someplace else.

But I'm a Debbie Downer.
