This Amazing Dog

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

I've recently noticed something about Fenway. He is amazing at adjusting his play style based on who he's playing with. Avery is my vocal, rough and tumble dog. When she and Fenway are playing it sounds like a dog fight with all the growling, snarling and barking. They also enjoy pile driving each other into the floor. Brogan is my soft dog. He likes to run and play tag, but he's not very vocal when he plays and he doesn't get into the real rough stuff. When he and Fenway are chasing each other and playing, Fens doesn't make a sound. He seems to know that Brogan doesn't like the noise and the pile driving. Even when Brogan yaps at him to entice play, Fenway doesn't respond as he does with Avery. I just love the fact that he is so adaptable. It's a pleasant change from Avery who has two speeds - full steam ahead and off. What an awesome dog Fenway is!

Don't you just adore dogs that self-handicap? Inara, for all of her issues is WONDERFUL at playing with all sorts of dogs n' puppies.
