Free Eye Exams - ACVO

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

Postby Jessie's_mom » April 8th, 2009, 4:09 pm

If you are interested -- as part of the ACVO/Merial National Service Dog Eye Exams for 2009, the event is going to be held the week of May 3-9, 2009. Dogs must be registered first, and then an appointment made with one of the participating vets.

This is for service dogs, SAR, drug detecting, accelerant sniffing, etc. dogs -- including therapy dogs certified by Delta Society and Therapy Dogs, Inc.

Here's the website link: http://www.acvoeyeexam.org/

The website has all the necessary links and information to do this, if anyone is interested.

Yeah, saw this, got excited...but Sawyer is not able to get a free exam...as he's not "certified". :nono:

This goes back to the question we've asked before: who certifies service dogs?

Sawyer is more of a service dog than Nemo...
