Pits in Ads

I always get so excited when I see pit bulls in advertising... today I saw an ad for a New York real estate company with a lady sitting on steps with a gorgeous pit bull, and her son holding a pug. It was great! Planet Dog also has a pit bull on a few of their products, and of course Cafe Press! Since every company seems to think that labs are the only good advertising dogs, it's great to see pit bull exposure too! Who else uses them?

I actually see them (or mixes ?) fairly often?

It seems to me like the advert world's dirty little secret. The most recent one I can think of is the new FIDO phone company add that uses an American Bulldog.

One of the music video channels uses what looks to be a two pit bull logo.

In my area, a local car dealership has a pittie mascot. He's on the billboards and in the commercials.

One of the microchip companies uses an American Bulldog, and so does Animal Planet.

I saw a new "Empire Carpet" commercial today that had a pit mix.

I'm seeing more movies w/pits in them. I just saw Fame on HBO the other day w/a pittie on it, and Cheaper by the Dozen had a pittie.

It's about time that pits get recognized for the good breed that they are.

There was a tire company who's major marketing ploy was something like pit bull tires or pit bull tough.. I can't exactly recall, but they were offroad tires from what I remember..
