I'd be very interested in knowing who he is bringing the dog to...

There is a "protection trainer" that I know of that does that type of hack training, it's all too common unfortunately.

It is all too common...and that's why I really wish people would do their research before hiring trainers...

What does your adoption contract say?

What is the clause in the adoption contract about follow ups with the adopter?

the contract states that :
Inspections may be conducted on any given day, during respectful hours.
If I am found to be in violation of this contract, I understand that upon demand, I am obligated to surrender the animal immediatly...

I have nothing in there stating about keeping in contact, but a couple times for check ups in the following months...And that is by word of mouth..And I usually keep in contact via email...I tend to back away once the dog is settled in the home after a few months..I let them know that they can contact me with any questions or concerns anytime...And that is on paper...

He is the one who contacted me telling me all about this, I thought it was going to be just an update email to tell me how he was adjusting to his new home...When I started expressing my concern about the training or "lack of" is when he started getting defensive and then told me that he would no longer be contacting me about Bucket, and that if I contacted him again he was going to file harrassment charges against me...

So I can only hope for the best and that he stays to his word that he is not going to pursue the training...Which I feel is not true...He never gave me the trainers name...I guess he feared I would call the trainer..Or find out this guy is not a trainer...

I dont know what to do... :(

Isn't that alone against the contract? :|

If he is threatening you with a lawsuit if you check on the dog, I think that is clear violation of the contract.

This has gotten a "little" weird. He's waaaaaay too defensive.
