EMERGENCY FOSTER HELP???

If any of you are able to take in one or two dogs, or any cats, for an unknown amount of time, could you please post your location and how many of each you could take in? I know this is vague but for privacy reasons, please trust us that this is urgent. If you are in the right area we will give you further information.

Actually I wasn't thinking about Michelle, I was thinking about the folks that actually have the authority to make decisions about that particular situation. Perhaps Michelle has been granted that authority.

I can take dogs and cats...or just one or the other. My cats are used to strange cats, and so are my dogs...so that's no issue. I have set-ups for dogs of any temperament...I can crate/rotate if needed.

I don't think anyone here is making decisions, just trying to put options together for the person(s?) who are the decision-makers.

I would like to think this group would pull together for me and my family as well, if the need ever came up. Good hearts.

Not going to publicly debate the issue, because it is completely inappropriate; however, as I understand it, no one has asked for options and the persons that are in the best position to know the situation are handling it and haven't asked for assistance.

and pulling together is one thing..but if someone took my dogs without my authorization or moved them out of the area....well let's just say the conversation would not be pretty.

Jesus. I don't care who is smurfing "in charge" or has "authority." What I care about is that this person and her animals are taken care of. Michelle was asked by this person's sister to find some options for the animals. It's not a power play. It's an OPTION.

Now, why exactly would I have posted anything if I wasn't "given the authority" to do so? Give me a break. I'm not working on stealing someone's dogs here. I'm trying to help find options LIKE I WAS ASKED TO

Hey Guys, seriously. I havent read this entire thread but I do know that her daughter is on her way there, if she isnt already & will be handling the care of the dogs. IMO this thread is a bit premature since we dont know her state. Let her daughter handle it & if she needs our help she will ask us for it.

Ok, I read the thread & I see where her sister did ask out help. For right now I think the dogs are safe. That could change though

And to be clear....the dogs are not completely alone at this point. The neighbor boy is keeping an eye on them. Also, there is some one in her area that knows her dogs personally and while she may not be able to take them she can make sure they are safe for the time being and possibly be of help to her daughter if need be.
