Sofie is doing pretty good.

She's back to sneezing really hard again, to the point she smashes her face into the floor. Poor girl. She snores in her sleep and when she eats sometimes makes a coughing/gagging noise. She seems to be happy otherwise, she hasn't had her homemade food for a while because she didn't want to eat it when she got pancreatitis. I'm going to re-start offering her the homemade diet. The other morning when I took her to my parents she got the zoomies in the street and was running around like a spazz.

The sneezing and snoring is a bummer, just the beginning of what is to come but like Shanna said, we're taking things a day at a time and I'm just trying to appreciate her while she's here.

Just a small update -

Sofie had a bloody nose yesterday and her sneezing has continued to increase. I'm going to monitor it, I'll have the doctor check it next week when he comes back from spring break. If the bloody noses increase it will be, for me, a sign that it is time. I don't want the growth to break through her face or for her to feel like poop in her final days.

I've been wondering about Sofie. I'm so sorry to read that she's not doing so great.

Maybe it's just dry air or something like that. Dry air makes my nose bleed.

Good thoughts to Miss Sofie from our house. :goodthoughts:

Thanks so much for the good thoughts everyone :hug3:

She's definitely feeling more poopy and old lady-ish. I haven't seen her get the zoomies in a while and I feel like she's aged a lot. I think chemo kind of does that :| She's eating and sleeping a lot, I think on Friday I'll take her to work and groom her - it might make her feel better, she's getting kind of hairy.

Thanks again for the support everyone.

Sofie seems to be feeling a little bit better after grooming :) She's been off and on with her food so I've been giving her her homemade food with the kibble which then make it acceptable enough to eat.

This is a bad picture - I look tired but I had my mom take this this morning to show off her new hoody since I made her naked and it's still cold out:
