Thanks everyone for the votes of confidence! When I got to work today, Indy was already set up in with not one, but two
HUGE comforters in a nice comfy bed. He pretty much looked like a King. And, well, let's be honest.... he is.
I couldn't believe my eyes at how well Indy was getting around and how truly great he looked.
Had I had the same surgery, you couldn't get me to be happy for
NOTHING!
But there was this brave soul, coping, adapting, and giving the best attitude!
He is just so lovable and inspiring.
It makes my job worthwhile to have stellar patients like him, and owners like Jen and her hubbie.
And yes, he did whine this morning.
But, when we looked over to make sure he was ok, he looked so innocent as if to say, "I didn't say nuthin', man".
Either that, or he was fawned all over and loved/snuggled each time, which he immediately figured out how to work the staff into more of that!
He really does look fantastic considering all that he went through. I wish I could be that brave and strong.
GO INDY!!!!!
