Thank you for asking, I don't know how anyone can manage to keep up with Trouble's schedule, but it makes you 'special' in our book
All of you guys are great.
Trouble had her third chemo yesterday. She was happy to get home and ready to eat. I thought I would try giving her just chicken, but she finished off the can and was still looking at her bowl then looking back at me
so I caved and gave her a little kibble.
The vet had her scheduled for an injection prior to leaving for the nausea, but the staff member that brought her out missed it on the chart so she didn't get it and I forgot to ask when I picked her up. Called after I got home and found out she didn't get it, so I gave her a pill. Just like clockwork, 5 hours later she ran out to vomit.
She had a few chills this time, and was pretty weak last night. She got me up at midnight to go out and had to lay on her mat near the door and rest before she could come in. All of this is pretty much status quo for the evening after chemo. They did have to switch to a rear leg for the catheter, they tried the front leg, but were unable to use that vein anymore.
Now for all the positives noted on her chart - bloodwork is great, looks good, feels good, heart & lungs sound normal
We won't see the vet until next week when they do her CBC, but the vet tech that checked her in and the staff all commented on how great she is doing. We credit it to the many good thoughts PBT sends her way. I'm hoping for many more positive reports for many, many months to come.
