Trainers aren't the people who can take the easy dogs and make them listen. Trainers are the ones who can take the tough ones, like Mick, and make them into something better. They have patience and compassion.

Those are the best trainers. Christine's patience and hard work have been an inspiration to me in dealing with Rocky. I can't tell you how often I have given her training advice, and can't take it myself!!! Her support and encouragement have made all the difference and have made me want to work with Rocky (rather than throwing in the towel like I wanted to so many times).

In each an every picture you can see the love the Mick has in him. A product of his environment, he can't help how he is. Yet, Christine has made him the beautiful boy we see in the pictures where he poses and looks handsome for the camera. I love seeing Mick mugging for the camera...being a ham. It shows how happy he is!!!

Christine & Mick have become GOOD friends, not only to the board but to me personally. I am glad to have "met' you both.

Christine saved me getting my avatar up...she figured out quickly I know very little about computers (she fixed it and didn't make me feel dumb) and she loves Mick with a vengence.

Can we get a thread going with old Mick pics? I know I've always got a grin on my face looking at his silly smile! Seeing the posts about the duck pics made me think of it...
