Kato is beating cancer

Here is where we can discuss canine cancers and treatment options to create a support system for those dealing with the disease.

Just wanted to post a small update.

Kato's still doing well! He still has a terrific appetite and firm poop! He's still itchy though. I ordered this cream and the socks. lol

Did you try cutting out the peanut butter for a little while? It has really helped Trouble. I haven't given her Benedryl in several weeks.

Keep up the good work, Kato! Hugs to you, Dee. You do a fine job taking care of the hero!

I did try cutting out PB and it made no difference. :( I'm glad to hear it worked for Trouble!

Dee,
It took a week before we saw any difference and two weeks before a marked difference.

Dee,
I've really, really had Kato on my mind a LOT lately. How's he doing?

Hi Shanna,

He's not doing too well lately. :( He's been having a lot of neuro issues and he's very thin, which they said is muscle wasting. The other day he just paced aimlessly for about 9 hours and I couldn't do anything to stop him. He still eats like a horse, thank goodness.
It's tough to see him like this. I just couldn't bring myself to post an update. :?

Thanks for asking about him. :hug3:

Thanks Isa. :hug3: I just kept hoping he'd bounce back & I wouldn't have to post this kind of update. I still have hope though. He's a fighter. :)
