And you're having a baby?

Yeah, but i am a firm believer that mother nature has ways of making us love our own offspring ;)

I'm not sure Asja (the one who killed her pups and left me with Rocky) would agree with you... ;)

Hhmmm true. But please refresh my memory, unless it is too painful ofc, was it ever established if there was anything wrong with the pups? Be it physically or mentally that might have triggered Asja´s reaction?

Or was she stressed about the situation due to being rather young or external factors?

I only ever remember one bitch at my parents place not being good with pups and she managed to lie on top of them causing a few deaths  Needless to say she was never bred again, and just was not suitable to be a mom for whatever reason.

Hopefully i will be atleast slightly less radical in my reaction to the baby if something is not as it should be lmao

I'm an English Cocker Spaniel.

Hardy, energetic, affectionate. Hardy & affectionate maybe. Energetic - definately not so much. Excellent with kids, does not tolerate teasing well - how do those two even go in the same sentence?

I don't see how blue and flamey fits in here. Maybe green and foamy.

When I posted here last I did not know what a bearded collie was but I did say it was a hairy mutt & I am correct by what it says here when I looked it up:

WHAT IS A BEARDIE?

The Bearded Collie is a Scottish herding dog with a long, shaggy coat and an exuberant, intelligent personality. Nowadays the majority of Bearded Collies are pets or show dogs, but they are also still used for herding on farms in Britain, as their style of working is particularly suited to cattle and hill sheep.

I like the bit where it says:
and can become difficult and destructive if left alone all day, as they like to have things to do.

See I shouldn't stay in my flat for too many hours

sending mad posts like this is proof enough  I've just shown what poor Gerda has to put up with....but. she seems happy enough.

I am small, but NOT fluffy.
