He is surprisingly gentle w/my palm leaves... and if one happens to "fall apart" I get all the pieces which he picks up painstakingly and patiently... :lol3:
I don't usually buy stuffies, because they either don't last, or Daisy gets very snappy and protective of her "babies".
They will share balls outside when we play fetch... but I haven't found a ball yet that doesn't get popped or destroyed in record time by both of them.

My toy review is basically non-positive ( ) - Mick has managed to destroy a black extra-large Kong and we're still finding bits and pieces all over the house... his Cuz balls have no feet left... his ropes are shredded and I find string in his teeth... he bit the handle of his new large Jolly ball... you all saw what he did to the "tongue" he got from Alyssa... he's an absolute maniac

That's pretty much the way our house was when Kade was around. Who do you think ate the holes in the indestructible balls so Mercy could put them on her head? He could have a new Kong torn in pieces in 10-15 minutes. Now that he's gone things last a bit longer but still get destroyed. The Cuz balls last (minus the feet of course) and the Nylabones last longer too. Kongs hang around but only with the Mals. I don't let Crash or Dice go at them without supervision or they'll get trashed. I got traffic cones and airplane tires for outdoor toys along with the indestructible balls and now the Egge. The spring pole would keep him occupied for hours but we still have to replace the rope on it on a regular basis and the pulley and hook several times a year. Kimber, Dice and Crash love the spring pole and I suspect Eve would too but it's broken right now and so she hasn't seen it yet. The only toys they get in the house are Nylababones and stuffed toys I don't care about. The skins from them hang around for quite a while. Everything else we own is for playtime only and then it's put away.

Buddie really liked it. He was a little scared at first because it "giggled"...his other treat-ball didn't make a noise. But once he realized there were treats inside he pushed it around his crate, banging it around, scaring the crap out of Cookie I'm sure (since their crates are right next to each other). No problem.

Until...we left for Vegas and our friends (who owns Diego, the Dalmatian) were dog sitting our dogs. We told them that Cookie can't have the treat ball b/c she'll destroy it, so to please remove the ball ASAP when they are released from their crates. Well, I think they forgot and Cookie snatched it up with seconds and put a second hole in the ball. :x Bad Cookie!!

Now...Buddie is normally pretty good at not destroying things, other than stuffies. But I am thinking that after day 4 of "working" for his breakfast, he got fed up with it while we were gone and connected the original hole with the Cookie-made-hole, and just made one large hole. I'll have to send you a picture of it. *shaking head*

We were at the vets the other day and he has one for his dog, who also cracks all frisbees. He brought it in for Layla to carry around and she seemed to like it. They're real light weight and soft, so they won't cut their gums or mouth when they carry them around. They also float in water. I haven't ordered one yet because we just got a few Kong frisbees, but I know Layla cracks regular frisbees just carrying them around in her mouth, so I thought I'd share this with you guys. :)

Does it actually fly like a frisbee? I'm assuming so, by the name of it, but it doesn't look fly-able. lol

I thought it looked like a piece of crap too. Layla carried it around for a while and didn't even put teeth marks it in. Our vet loved it, his dog had it for 3 years and there were barely teeth marks it in. I tried to break it and couldn't. I guess they're a lot more durable than they look. They're real light weight, but I suppose there's something in them that makes them fly. Magic frisbees :|

Sounds like Mick and Scooter have the same...shall we call it wanton disregard..for new toys? Or is it simply a case of over exuberant love?

I have yet to find a toy that will withstand Scooters focused attention and he chew on a nylabone for a bit, but then grows tired of them.

Dylan loves his Kong Water Wubba. Whether or not there is any water around us he goes crazy for it.
He also loves his Cuz. However, it annoys me so he only gets it for very limited periods of time and usually only to fetch with, not to chew on and squeak constantly.
He gets those stuffed ducks that quack on very special occasions, when we have our own private DEMOLITION DERBY!!!

Something I do not recommend...

Dogzilla by Booda/Aspenpet

Here's the one we have
http://www.shopping.com/xPC-Booda-Dogzi ... ll-Dog-Toy

I got one cheap at Ollie's...thinking it would be like a Kong. But it's supposed to have a scent embedded in the rubber too. The dogs paid attention to it for like 5 seconds. It's hard, hard rubber...I haven't tried to stuff it yet, but it looks difficult to do. Not impressed so far. I'll try and stuff it soon, and see if it's better received by the gang.

I bought the dogzilla a few weeks ago and Greta (not my toughest chewer) had one end of it in pieces trying to get the goodies out that I had put in it. Needless to say she got them.

Layla loves her Cuz, but only after she destroys it (and destroys Riggs' Cuz too.). The feet must come off and any horns or anything else that remotely sticks out.

I wouldn't recommend the Kong Wubbas for tough chewers, its not actually a Kong inside them, but rather a cheap tennis ball that crunches in a matter of minutes. Layla's was collapsed within a few minutes of her just carrying it around the house. :| It might be okay for fetch in a lake or something, but we were sorely disappointed when it broke with her just walking around the house with it in her mouth.

We're still looking for a toy she can't break...someday :sad2:

I bought one. Inara ignored it. Gave it away. Her dogs ignore it. I was actually contemplating sending it up to Connor or Riggs to see if they like it. In my opinion, it may be indestructible, but it's also boring.

Gee, thanks CAPTAIN OBVIOUS! Trust me, I tried teasing her with it, playing tug o'war, fetch, etc. Nothing. She was NOT impressed.
