Thank you all. It's been a strange feeling today not having Simon around. Everyon's kind words mean a lot to me.

I picked up his ashes this afternoon from our vet's office. Apparently, they had them put in a polished wood box and had his name engraved on it. When I realized that they'd done that for us, that it's not part of the package, it just made me cry all over again. People are just too nice sometimes.

RIP Simon *hugs* He was a very beautiful dog. He was lucky to have you as his life companion.

The box with his name made me cry. It's a lovely box.
