My rattie girls "donated" their bodies to science last Thursday. All of them were sick and two had massive tumors. They were PTS humanely by a friend's Vet Tech class, and then used for necropsy training. While I was very sad of course, it was nice to see that they provided some interesting findings for the students (all the ratties had
major internal problems), and it saved four healthy rats from being put down. (healthy rats are now living with me*...

)
So RIP my rattie girls: Pi, poor little Magrat, Leela and my sweet girl Rogue.
*Introductions for the newly rescued rats will be coming as soon as I get some good pics...welcome McGee, D'argo, Domino and Solitaire.
