I love Grey's. How many words does he know?

My best friend has a cockatoo that she can't handle. Know anyone who wants one?

Hmm.... he's really sweet, actually, a big time cuddler.... maybe he's too young for his jerk stage. He LOVES to meet new people (especially tall people) and likes to take car rides and go to different places. He was hatched on April 15... so he's about 10 months. He's not talking quite yet-- or should I say he's not completely articulating yet. He mumbles all the time, and whistles and smooches at the dogs. He's the best shower singer I've ever heard! (I know, who doesn't have a blast in the shower, right? This kid lives for showering :| )

This site makes me laugh! It's sooo great.
I always think about it too, that greys are considered to be a "medium" on the loudness scale and there are times that I think my head is going to explode because Twitch is so loud. He's not like that often, but some of those noises are really shrill! And he did learn the smoke detector beep..... luckily that one has been disappearing from his regular string of noises. Ick!

African Greys sometimes don't say anything until well over a year old, then they come out with complete sentences.

So be careful what you say - he could be storing it all for future reference!!:p

ON second thought, maybe it's better I don't have a parrot.

I"m sure it's first words would be "F**KIN' IDIOT!!" :ROFL2:
