My NON PUKING dog, Harleybird!

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

Postby iluvk9 » June 29th, 2010, 8:11 pm

He has been doing great on the medications and I/D food. :)

Harleybird may be showing his age with his white facial hairs, but he still enjoys taking 5 mile walks or 8 mile hikes with me. He is such a good boy.

Looking handsome.

He put on a little more weight, which my Vet wanted, after his puking episodes.

The "please take me for a walk" look.

He's about 70 pounds, but looks so small in Truman's crate.

That first picture of him is GORGEOUS! And I cannot believe how small he looks in Truman's crate.

I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Thank you, ladies. :)

Apparently, Truman does A LOT of things while I am out. 8) I keep forgetting that Harl is actually considered a "large dog", because Truman is, well, ya know....

I love that first picture too! I think his graying is very "Richard Clooney" like on him!

8) I won't tell him this because he already has a big ego.

And here I thought you were just being clever mixing Richard Gere and Geroge Clooney and being impressed with your wit. :giggle:

And I figured, if it is a Clooney, he must be dashingly handsome. 8)

Thanks, Jenn. :)

Thanks ~ I wish I wasn't such a "mother hen"...I follow him everywhere outside in the yard to make sure he doesn't eat grass (my Vet said it is a no-no) and to watch if he pukes. :rolleyes2:

The unexplainable puking thing is no fun!! I still find myself checking up on Punkin if I hear a noise in the middle of the night, but since he was treated for the Bartonella, he has not puked and has not needed his inhailer in a while- which is awesome. I don't think he has asthma, since he does not require the inhailer lately, which I am happy about because he is not exactly a well behaved cat when I pulled out the odd gadget I bought to administer the medication to him. The Rite Aid pharmicist got so confused when he found out that the Flovent was for my kitty :| !!! lol

8) When I got the prescription "sucralfate" for Harleybird, the pharmacist had a slight problem entering it into the computer. :giggle:
