I finally have a SMALL DOG!!!

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

Postby iluvk9 » January 11th, 2009, 1:04 pm

I always wanted a tiny one. :) Seems the Doof-burger (aka Truman) thinks he is it!

In Darlene's bed.

Good god, he really is HUGE! How much does he weigh? Do you know how tall he is? From his pictures he looks comparable to Sirius! :o

Ha, I love that dog. He is the kind of dog I would have sitting next to me (or on me) on the couch watching football

He runs 120-140, depending on his activity level for the season. I had his DNA tested, and unfortunately, at the time, they did not have Great Dane as one of the breeds. It came back, Lab, Rotti and English Setter. I DO believe he has Great Dane. His head rests very comfortably on the kitchen table.

He prefers to sit ON you. In bed, he must sleep ON your feet.

He is learning how to drive stick shift, with those long legs. Maybe he can get to your area.

He is a lab-thing though :? ...does he need some lessons from the Aussies? They don't charge...much.

Darlene doesn't look like she's real excited about the idea of sharing with Truman

Darlene looks just thrilled to have him there :rolleyes2:

Truman reminds me of my last dog, Molly. She was listed as a Newfoundland/Labrador mix at the shelter. My mom was a little horrified when I said I wanted her. She was the biggest dog there. She only weighed about 100 pounds though. Practically petite compared to your pony.
