Ripley's rough few weeks...

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

Finally got some pics uploaded of Rip's past few weeks...some are graphic (bloody) so open at your own risk!

First...the random bloody nose...

It just wouldn't stop bleeding...blood was everywhere...
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8ce3 ... /ry%3D400/

The bathroom (his favorite place to sleep) was a blood bath (pun intended) each morning...

Poor Rip...

Then that was cleared up...everything was good for a while...

Except for Fry stealing photo ops...

Then the bite...
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8ce0 ... /ry%3D400/

And the swelling (doesn't he look like a bull terrier-Aussie mix?)

Then a trip to the vet, where they shaved his face...John said he could go as Frankendog for Halloween...

http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8ce0 ... /ry%3D400/

Pbbbbttttt...
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8ce0 ... /ry%3D400/

http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8ce0 ... /ry%3D400/

He's a herding dog through and through though...no pain...must play!

I told him he'll be back to his normal cute self in no time...:)

I was more freaked out with the nose bleed...because at least with the bite, I knew what had happened! ;)

Thanks, he'll love the butt scritches...one of his favs!

And his big scab fell off this afternoon, so he looks sooo much more normal now!

It sure is good that you didn't try to treat that bite wound at home!
