Salamander my salamander

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

I thought I would post updated pictures of my salamander. Not sure if I posted about one passing back in January or not but he did. So now I just have one instead of 2. And his name is Salamander. He is huge! I didnt know he would get that big but he did!

He isnt slimey at all. He looks shiny. When i mist him he is slippery but not slimey.

And thanks... we almost lost Salamnader too but a rush to the vet saved him!

I remember as well - didn't you find a salamander forum with a bunch of crazed salamander lovers? :lookaround: (cuz none of us here are crazed pit bull owners...noooooo)

He is cute!

Here is the link from when I first got them. They were maybe 2 inches long including the tail and now he is about 5 inches long including his tail. He is much more interesting now that he is bigger. He eats the crickets when I put them in there for him.

Yea I joined the salamander forum but I havent been back on since I found out all I needed to get going. I have changed a lot as far as what he lives on... he is on something called bed-a-beast. Its cool stuff and then he has some moss in there. He is a happy camper I guess. He is still alive and kinda chunky!
