Hey all, I just got a new lens on my camera...so I wanted to share some pics that I've taken at training over the past couple of weeks...

Kyah (6 months old and she's a BEAST):

Kaiden (full brother to Kyah, but a year older...he came from the first Jue x Rummy breeding):

Nisha (heeling, guarding, and biting):

Cy (jumping - just look at the height, not biting the decoy when he shouldn't, then finally getting to bite):

Finally, Jue and the infamous guard:

There's actually a funny story behind the lens. Lately, I had been taking pics, and regardless of what I was doing, they were coming out fuzzy...when I first got my D200 (not this past Xmas, but the year before) it was taking AMAZING pics with that very lens...well, I thought maybe it was the camera...and one day, I took the lens off, and as I was putting it on my desk I heard a slight noise. I gently shook it next to my ear, and it rattled. My response, "Well, that can't be right." The lens is a Tamron F/3.5-6.3 28-300 lens...so it wasn't a great lens...but nothing to laugh at...

Unfortunately, I didn't have the money for a new lens, but just to make myself feel worse, I did the research anyway. I already have a Nikon 70-200 F/2.8 VR lens...but it's entirely too heavy for every day use...

Well, I started to look into lenses, and a comparable lens to the Tamron was a Nikon 18-200 f/3.5-5.6 VR lens...however, it was also $650...

Luckily, my birthday was right around the corner. My father gave me some money and he made me swear that I would use it on myself (and not the house, not Greg, not the dogs)...so, I went and got a manicure and pedicure, then put the rest towards my lens....my best friend (we're like sisters, and her daughter is my godchild) called me 2 days before my birthday and told me a little birdie (my dad) told her that I needed a new lens for my camera...so she paid for the rest of it.

So, the day after my birthday, my new lens arrived!!!

lol...the decoy, Rob (look familiar, Alyssa?), was a little taken aback!!! Most people are! What you don't get from the pics is that when he's doing that, he's also clacking his teeth at you!

Jue would make me crap my pants. Which would be wet from peeing them. :)

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, Jue is very intimidating in the guard. His goal is to get the person to move so he can bite!

And Cy's guard is a silent one...he just sits there and stares...but the calm is almost unnerving!

They all look great! Kyah is huge! What happen to the cute little puppy around Christmas time?

And Jue is by far the most intimidating! I fed him treats through his crate and that almost made me wet myself.... then i did it once when he was out of the crate! Not to mention the time Jue decides to jump right in my lap.,.. talk about almost crapping yourself!

I need to come up and visit! If things werent so hectic!Soon though... very soon!
