Where'd Copper go!????

Hmmm...what's in here...?

Ahh, here we go...

We broke down and got Copper a snuggle sack from the Dachshund parade we attended today. It was sunny but very windy and he about froze to death, we had to purchase another jacket/coat for him AND this fuzzy thing for him! Jeff toted him around in the sack, with his little jacket on, and everyone thought he was da' Bomb!

I posted a link up for anyone who wants to see the entire parade/pics, but here's a few of my favorites...this old guy is 17 - he walked around for a bit but had to be carried the rest of the time. The owner said it's probably his last parade

He's on heart meds...I was inspired by the fact that the dog lived to be 17, and it gave me hope, for Copper (who is a spring chicken at 9 but is getting cataracts!)

Conan - so shiny!

Shady lady!! I don't know her name...it isn't Carlie (Carlie was pink!)

And Carlie in her pink duds...Ronnie had her Rugby shirt on (ignore the looks of obvious elation on the people's faces and demeanor, they were having a blast and couldn't help themselves!)

For the Pit (staffy??) fans!!

And Ronnie modeling a pink foofy thing of Carlie's - it doesn't "fit" Ronnie though!!

Whoops, I forgot Copper - the little dog who started it all, in this house anyway! Here's the little jacket we bought him. He is bloated since he raided a bag of dog biscuits the day before, and exploded about halfway through the day, necessitating using all our poop bags, wonderful...sigh...

Uh huh. I was mad at him the night he did it and half the day yesterday :evil:

Not to mention, the biscuits he stole were the Cocker's biscuits, and, well that is just a HECK of a way to welcome a guest in our house!!!!
