This first pic is shortly after she was born..but it gives you a reference as to how tiny she was...that's my sons hand covering half of her body

Image

She was born with bi-lateral club feet so here is the little bit in her casts

Image

and this one is from tonight...had a heck of a time getting her bottle down her...she kept falling asleep

She is so precious & looks so peaceful. How much weight has she gained?

She's 4lb 14oz...when she decided to put on weight, she didn't waste any time....The only think keeping her at the hospital now is needing to eat from breast or bottle at every feeding. She is managing 2 or 3 pretty regularly now, so we are hoping for about 10 days.

Thankfully, she has nothing to compare to so the casts don't bother her at all...it bothers the moms & the dads & the grandma's & the grandpa's...but not the baby.

She got to come home last Friday, that's about 3 weeks earlier than expected..yay. We went to their house yesterday evening, took Mom & Dad dinner and spent a couple of hours just admiring her.

She is doing extremely well...I keep telling her parents..that if she continues being this kind of an overachiever..they are in for trouble when she's 13!

One to two more cast changes to go, but they are thinking they may not have to do the surgery where they snip the achilles and may be able to go straight to the Dennis Brown shoes (you know the ones with the bar in between).
