My son's new career

I have been busting at the seams to share this, but I had to wait for him to officially accept.

My son is now a New York City Probationary Firefighter! :)

He took the test 3 years ago and had to wait for the list to be called. Of course, I always hoped for a nice desk job for him, on the first floor of a safe building, but our dreams were not the same. :wink: I guess that English degree from SUNY Binghamton will come in handy when he fills out his paperwork?

YAY! I'm glad you finally get to share that with everyone! You must be SOOOOOOO proud!! He was a little cutie pie as a kid.... where's the grown up pics?! :D

And Randi, I am SO NOT ALLOWED to post his recent photos. I guess it's a guy thing. When I suggested it, he said, "the same forum you post photos of the dogs?????"

But in 13 weeks when he graduates the academy, let him try and stop me! :wink: I gave birth to him, for crying out loud.
