Michelle,
I've been having very slow access and lots of 'timeouts' lately + some database errors.
Sounds like hosting issues. :|

Troubles tonight with the board, running slow, not appearing, and it ate a post of mine. :(

I'm having issues, too. Hit the back button and got some error - but now I lost it and can't remember what it said.

Response time is slow - really slow. It takes several seconds sometimes, and begin to wonder if it will load at all.

I haven't had any trouble, and according to the host company there isn't any problem with the server, so I have no idea...

Your host will never admit his servers/database servers are overloaded. :| :nono:
As much traffic as PBT has they would rather see you gone or on a VPS / dedicated box.

Well, that's not happening... we break even every year without much trouble, but I'd have to have ads on here to have a dedicated server and I'm not doing that!

I'd request that my host move me to a different server.

The board has gotten so slow about loading that I now always have another tab open in my browser so I have something to do while waiting for each page to load. :bs:

I got all excited when I first logged in this morning 'cause nearly every forum section had about 20 new topics. Then I realized they weren't new but were just marked that way. Devastating.

Same thing happened here, minus the excitement.
