Problems With the New Forum Style?

Have a question/comment/concern about the board in general? Post it here

Postby mnp13 » April 8th, 2008, 8:48 am

Just FYI - we're going to keep the size restrictions. We've had a dozen new threads in the gallery since last week and a handful of other posts with pictures as well. Other people are adjusting to the new guidelines, so you need to as well ;)

We have gotten a number of positive responses from people on slower connections who can now view gallery threads, before these size restrictions gallery threads were difficult, if not impossible, for them to view.

:D I know how to resize pictures, but not re-pixel them. I post pictures on other forums, so it is a pain in the BALLS to have to reformat all of them. Plus the teeny tiny pictures don't show what a great photographer I am ! :cry2:

Chea -- if you use photobucket, go to account options and set the custom picture size to whatever the new size is (ask Michelle). You can also edit each pic to the new size by clicking on the "edit" button right above the thumbnail pic.

Yeah, but then I'd have to upload the same pictures twice.

It works for me. Have you cleared your cookies recently?

Nope, it took me a few times to be able to mark one thread read in nutrition.

In the forums that have sub-forums, you have two options - mark threads (or topics...can't remember) read, and mark forums read. Make sure you're marking the threads/topics read and not the forums. That may help?

Yeah, I just use the website size option in Photobucket. It's perfect.

The only place you can post is in the intro section until you have been approved to post in the rest of the forum. :)

Here are a few links to threads for more information:

Please read this FIRST!!!!: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=78

Need ideas? What to put in your introduction: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=190

Mark, Mark, Mark....don't give up so fast! Just do what MNP13/Admin suggested and JOIN the FORUM!! This is how most forums work. Once you get access, you will be able to post and read everywhere. I have a sister who lives in Sisters, Oregon and works in Bend, so you and I are already sorta related.
