.avi file size?

We just took a cute .avi video of The Ruby last nite and it's taking FOREVER to load on PHotobucket. It's like 1:39 mins long and 83Mb - is this doable? Do I need to make it smaller (cut in half?)?

OK - I just saw a YouTube video - should I be looking into that route for something like this vs straight Photobucket load? I have ZERO experience with vids.

Photobucket can handle vids up to 3 minutes in length, I believe - but they do take FOREVER to download! Be patient!
