Used it today on my walk with Eli and i love it

It's so light weight yet strong and soft. Perfect length too!

Do you have any of the *old* cord? I actually really like the old stuff for dogs that are resistant to being leashed...because it is stiffer and stays open better for lassoing.

I could run out and get some - I'm limited to a handful of colors with that stuff, as well as the bigger o-rings. But ask and ye shall receive! And remember that it's not even remotely as strong as the paracord is.

mmh, I could use one of those for work. Are these comfy for eczema-laden hands? The small, flat nylon slip ones from work kill my hands every time a dog pulls, and that's often...

Honestly, I'd love to say these are soft as silk, but they are still rope. If they slip through your hands it probably wouldn't feel good. I think they're fine to just hang on to, but I don't have eczema...

I don't have eczema on my hands...but I have really rough, dry hands that get chapped and split...(I like to wash my hands a lot...and they're exposed to the elements). So I'll just add my two-cents that Liz's slip leads are much easier on my hands than the two-bit ones from the vets...I have some of those two hanging around, just in case...and I rarely choose the cheap ones if I don't have to!

Alright my lovelies, I have managed to get my manufacturing time for 20' leads down to a reasonable several hours work, so I have decided to officially offer them. However, I don't know how much to charge and would like some input. What would you guys be willing to pay for a strong yet attractive 20' lead? I can put either a regular snap on the end or one of the carabiners with the crazy high working load limit. I can put a handle on the end or just let it be.

They're generally around $15-$20 in stores, but mine are going to be much stronger, more attractive and hand-made. Thoughts?

And remember, I always offer free shipping.

I have pics of a couple I just made for Michelle, so I'll upload them tonight.

Here are the two 20' leads I made for Michelle:

Red/purple

Green/brown

They have both a regular swiveling scissor snap at the one end, as well as a carabiner hooked through the handle so the leash can be wrapped around a post or tree and hooked to itself.
