Slip leads

I took a pic of the colors I found to make leads with. If you guys are serious about wanting them, let me know which colors you like so I'm not buying colors nobody will like.

Image

The colors are neon - yellow, green, pink, blue, purple and orange.

I would probably ask $15 and then ship them for free. I know that seems like a lot but mine was a bitch to make! lol

So let me know if you're interested. :)

No black? I want purple and black or blue and black. Not real into neon pink, sorry. :)

Michelle, the lady said she hasn't been able to find that cording in black. Sorry!

Erin, is that yellow gold enough for you? That's all I could find in yellow...

Alright, I bought blue, yellow and purple tonight. The rope is inexpensive so if somebody wants any of the other 3 colors it's not a big deal at all. I can't find the stupid rings though! I checked Home Depot and Joanne Fabrics. I'm not giving up though! I'll find those little bastards! lol

Man, I'd love a pink and green one, or really anything that isn't red, white and blue like the slip lead in my purse (I love red but I'm not really into blues). I may be in touch. :)

Crisis averted! O-rings located and I should have them by Wednesday! So I'm back open for business. PM if you want anything at all! :)

And I just realized I'm an idjit and didn't post pics of the slip leads I can make.

They're braided with four strands of nylon, 2 colors, and they're braided so they come out in stripes of color instead of criss-crossed colors.

About 5' before you put them around your dog's neck, so 3 1/2' to 4' feet after? They're not really an exact process - a lot depends on how tight I can get the braid. I try for super-tight because then they feel nice and strong, but the tighter the shorter. I'm looking at Inara's now and it's probably 4' once it's around her delicate little neck.

If you want longer I can do longer, though. I just wouldn't recommend too long since they're slip leads and the dog could hurt itself hitting the end at speed. :)

I finished up a lead last night for my first customer! It's purple and yellow. All I'm waiting on is the ring to come in and it will be 100% done. But the hard part is over with and I think the colors look great together!

So, exactly when would you use a slip lead? :| I know my Vet and our shelter used them for quick "leading into another area". How does everyone else use them?

One good thing is they're good to have in the car in case you see a stray dog.

I keep one in my car and one in my purse in case of a stray dog or a mishap with one of my dogs' leashes. :|
