Ok, let me begin by explaining i have two very timid rescues that have been a work in progress since puppies. One has a screw loose and despite the rest of the litter being 'fine' she seems almost autistic, but has turned into an over acheiver! The other has environmental fears, inanimate objects and other random fears. Luckily not people. This was Ryders second trial in APBT Rally and we threw Panzer in for fun, we have only been practicing while Ryder is on break. To my surprise Panzer thought it was the best game in the world b/c I can feed her after signs, and her heel has turned into a left bounce, which is quite cute!
Luckily for me, Ryder has turned into a lovely working dog with little people contact can handle crowds and I feel the more sports and classes we attend the better she becomes! She is by no means a stable girl, and I manage her life pretty strictly, nonetheless she has become my heart dog!
Here is a video of Panzer's first run, (we seem to have control despite her energy level, and she doesn't even see the audience watching!) Panzer got the Award of Excellence, b/c all her trial scores were above 190 and she titled in three great runs, and Ryder whizzed right thru level two to earn her RL2 title and on her way to the ArchX. Shortly after retiring Panzer from Weight Pull due to another knee injury, we seem to have stumbled onto her next sport! My only regret is there weren't professional photographers there so no really great pics!
