Most shelties are de-barked because the breeders won't be bothered to breed for a dog that doesn't peel paint with its incessant barking (or to breed for one that doesn't bark at clouds going by and everything else).
I actually can't laugh...because our Pit bull on the team actually did CRUNCH a sheltie...her mom has like 10 or so of the fluffy idiots running around (used to breed). She forgot one day to manage them correctly, and the pit bull took a whopping bite of the sheltie...pins in her legs and all.
Now Sawyer is running with her next tournament, and she wants to crunch Sawyer.
We'll see how this goes.
