First Intro to Flyball!!!

Weight pull, Protection, Agility, Flyball... you name it!

Postby katiek0417 » January 18th, 2008, 11:08 pm

So, Greg and I took a ride tonight, with Sacha, and went to flyball training with Erin (TheRedQueen). I got to meet Erin, John, Inara, Sawyer, Ripley, Score and everyone else who trains with them!!!

I'm totally hooked! Everyone was so nice and dog savvy (which is good)...and everyone was totally willing to help us newbies and explain everything. :) And...Sacha seemed to really have a great time with it!!!

So, thank you to Erin and John and everyone else (and it was so great to meet all of you)!! We can't wait until Monday (we'll be bringing Jue and Cy out on Monday, as well -oh, and Greg said if Jue is good at it, and likes it, he'll let ME compete with him!!!).

Thank you so much for allowing us to come out!!! We're totally hooked! And I'm so glad that Sacha seems to like it...she's IMPOSSIBLE to please!!

Can't wait until Monday to do it again. And I KNOW Sacha loved that she could bark and have fun in there! We promise Cy and Jue are a little bit more behaved...

well, we can't expect too much of her, she is, after all, a crazy Lab!
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

She's just being paranoid...Sacha was a typical flyball dog...once she realized that she was allowed to bark there...she just let loose!

Sacha was well-behaved...trust me, we get mostly people with couch potato dogs who have never had training in their lives... like the poodle who showed up with his family before Xmas...that tried to bite every dog and human in the place. Now that dog was not well-behaved! :x

Sounds like you guys are having a blast!!

Earl just started flyball a few weeks ago and we are having a great time as well. I think we are both definitely hooked

I'm going to try to grab some action shots of Earl this week to send to his physical therapist who helped in his ACL surgery recovery

Flyball rocks!!
